Weathering Track
A New Color but with the same Name! Weathered Black
Our sales on both Weathered Black and especially Shale are too few to keep the status quo in separate selection options. Customers bought these two colors to be mixed to make a unique mostly black color anyway!
So today Joe's has a new color that literally looks even better than the previous Weathered Black because a small part of the Shale is measured and added to the already standard Weathered Black. Looks great!
Not to take away anything from the Brown Rust, Dark Brown, and Oxide Browns but this new Weathered Black is a exciting very prototypical rail color!
Shale is now discontinued as a stand alone color.

Weathering Paint in colors for painting top of the rails on Sidings.
Resistance and conductivity is excellent. This formulation actually even sticks to a Red Silicone work mat!
Only color achieved so far is a flat black. Working to make it more prototypical toward the Rust color tones.
Rusty Rails Stick Roller
Now available and for sale is our Mini Paint roller tool option that can supplement the Rusty Rails Painter tool OR be a stand alone throw away much like the paint markers on the market today. Lower cost, no frills, perfect for today's moves to smaller budget friendly train and track layouts. This idea comes from some feedback from modelers using our tool that would like a separate tool / roller for adding accent colors without having to buy another separate tool. So...a modeler will apply paint onto the foam roller from a palette. Roll it against a surface until the foam roller is evenly saturated and then apply the roller to the track rail.
Rusty Rails Stick Roller will not include a hollow brass plated paint tube, plastic container, stainless steel screen, for the paint. Only a wooden handle with the stainless steel hardware and discs with foam roller.

Tool Room / Die Making
🤔Ideas kicking around here...:
1.) Melting the tie plate with spike(s) for better looks. Without loss of the OEM secured rail.
2.) Heating or melting ties to look splintered, split, broken ends.
