 Rusty Rails Painter®  is better than spray, brush, or paint pens. It is reusable, refillable, easier to clean, more roller size capacities, and has a new paint flow-port *design. Our latest version features a longer anti-corrosion nickel plated paint tube and a washable stainless steel paint screen mounted inside the metal cap. It has a removable O-ring for when washing, a smaller sized softer plastic paint bottle for easier maneuverability and quicker priming. And with a gentle squeeze pressure the softer paint bottle provides consistent paint flow. Air uptake/ replacement of the paint is instant when squeeze is relaxed. Great on already ballasted track! The only consumable on the Rusty Rails Painter® is the foam roller and the paint. Wash it and reuse later! The metal parts are epoxy mounted. So washing with dish detergent and hot water, or mineral spirits is fine!

*Latest Design: Previously, the drilled hole for the paint was located on the tube a very short distance from the edge of the roller to let paint travel to the edge of the roller via a gravity fed design. Separated by the flat flange for the roller and disc. The clear stiff plastic bottle was the idea to prevent excessive paint flow, and possibly make a mess for the modeler. So now, the drilled hole (flow-port) is sized a bit larger, moved to the roller's edge BUT incorporated with a heat and crimp process to collapse and bend a portion of the hole. Now...having it on the side of the roller. 

 Rusty Rails Painter® also works great for weathering sleepers and spikes, structural roofing, etc! Simply a wider foam roller with diluted paint or Joe's Custom Weathering Dyes is the way to go! Especially for showing the transparency of the wood grain on the sleepers through our Limestone or Rust colored weathering dye.

And don't forget...the top outsides of the track rails stay rusty!
