Joe's Gel Detail & Decal Remover safely fades or removes any manufacturer's painted or inked DETAIL ONLY.

Use it on any scale, model - plastic, metal, or wooden! 

 This product is not intended to be a quick, complete shell stripper & rinse like Easy Lift Off  or Chameleon - both of which we recommend for that purpose only.

Please note:

Some models manufactured and painted with the same ink on both body and detailing are not as suitable for this product as the pad printed or painted detail would be on a painted body. But we feel, and hear all the time ...that this product is the best out there for erasing that detail cleanly and keeping the removal very localized for easier touchup with the correct body color before decal applications.

Models are painted in different stages. The base paint is applied and cured a certain way. The details are applied and cured a certain way. The later process is almost always the weaker bond. We formulated a way to target those weaker properties before the base layer is adversely affected.

Safely fade away to weather, or completely remove road numbers, logos, stripes, etc. to renumber and or apply new decals without blemish to the base paint.

Decals lift very easy. If clear coated, it'll take a little more time.

Excellent for quickly removing that new glossy finish to your model! Simply brush on the entire shell (Not to be used on clear styrene) for one minute and brush or wash off with water!

One 2 ounce jar is enough to weather or renumber approx. 100 HO Rolling Stock.

Joe's Gel Detail and Decal Remover is water based, nonflammable and specially made to offer the extended time control for very effective detail removal. As a gel formula with added fine micron powdered abrasive - it stays where you put it and removes particles affected by the chemical and abrasion. It's even effective on very small detail with a toothpick!

Safe to use in any room indoors! Other paint and decal removers are basically flammable petroleum distillates that may cause problems. Our product has no harmful fumes or strong allergic odors. In fact... we specially formulated it to smell nice!

 Excellent shelf life if you keep the cap on while you use just what you need!
