Z scale and N scale code 55 setups do not utilize the foam roller. Instead install the (.020") single disk ( included).
The paint exits the flow port behind and onto the disk and rolls off the disk onto the side of the rail.
Track is painted easily without any mess to the roadbed!
TIP* Use the Rusty Rails Painter tool with the O Scale Rollers (available separately) to weather cross ties with Joe's Custom Weathering Dyes ! The dyes are much thinner and let more detail show through! Better than ANY paint! Most paint that gets thinned down substantially loses it's curing and adhesion properties...crumbles, flakes off or doesn't even stick to plastics. LOOK! The plastic molded wooden ties show clear details of the raised wood grain!
